About

Solo founders do not need more noise. They need a system.

SyncOS exists to help founders building alone think clearly, make better decisions, and keep moving when the entire company lives in their head.

Why SyncOS exists

The job a solo founder actually has

Solo founders carry strategy, product, users, roadmap, decisions, doubts, and tasks alone. There is no one in the room to challenge a weak idea or remember last month's reasoning.

Most tools only manage fragments — a task here, a doc there, a chat with no memory. The founder is left to stitch everything back together inside their own head.

SyncOS is designed to become the living operating system around the founder: one place that remembers the startup, supports decisions, plans execution, and runs the weekly review.

Our story

How SyncOS started

SyncOS was founded in early 2026 by Carmen G. Ross and Rasheed Jackson after both experienced the same pain: building startups alone and realizing that no tool actually thought like a cofounder.

The insight came while Carmen was building his second startup. He had ChatGPT open in one tab, Notion in another, a task manager in a third, and a spreadsheet for weekly reviews in a fourth. Every Monday, he rebuilt context from scratch. Every decision was made emotionally because no one challenged it. Every Friday, he had no idea if the week mattered.

SyncOS started as a private tool. Carmen built a prototype that persisted company context across conversations, challenged his roadmap decisions, and forced a weekly review. Within three months of using it himself, his project velocity doubled. He showed it to 20 solo founders in his network. 18 kept using it after two weeks. That was the signal.

Rasheed joined in mid-2026 to build the AI memory layer. The core technical bet was that generic LLMs fail founders because they lack persistent, structured company context. By combining a graph-based memory system (Startup Brain) with a reasoning layer tuned for strategic pushback, SyncOS could act less like a chatbot and more like an operating system.

The company incorporated in California in 2026, raised a pre-seed round, and launched public beta. Today, SyncOS serves active solo founders building from San Diego, CA and around the world.
